 OUTPUT, INPUT AND AUXILIARY DEVICES

 

 INPUT DEVICES

  Input devices are hardware components that are used to enter data and commands into a computer. They allow a user to interact with the computer and control its operations. Simply the hardware components which we can touch are known as input devices.

There are many input devices such as:

 keyboard

 Mouse

 Track ball

 Joystick

 Scanner

 Digital camera

 Bar code reader

 Speech input devices

 Touch screen

 Touch pad

 Light pen

 


OUTPUT DEVICES

 Output devices are hardware components that are used to display, print, or otherwise present the results of computations performed by a computer. Simply the hardware components which we can feel are known as input devices.

There are many output devices Such as:

Ø Monitor

Ø Printer

Ø Soft copies

Ø Plotter

Ø Audio devices


Ø AUXILIARY STORAGE DEVICES

 These are called as secondary storage devices. These are permanent memory storage devices which are volatile & transportable memory devices.

There are many auxiliary devices Such as:

 Magnetic tapes

 Hard disk

 Floppy disk

 CD

 DVD

 Pen drive.
