INSTALLING A SOFT-WARE


INSTALLING A SOFT-WARE:

     Installation of new software:

   {1}   Click on the start button

   {2}   Select settings from the popup menu.

   {3}   Click on control panel option from the cascading menu then it displays control panel windows

   {4}   Select and double click on Add/Remove programs icon from the control panel window, then it   displays Add/Remove programs properties Dialogue box

   {5}   Click on the install button from the above dialogue box, then it displays the installation wizard.

   {6}   Insert the floppy disk or CD into their drives

   {7}   Click on the Next button from the installation wizard then the operating system automatically identifies the executable file and displays in that wizard

   {8}   Click on the Finish button to start the installation process.

 

     Unistallation of software:

  {1}   Click on the start button from the task bar then it display a popup menu.

  {2}   Select settings from the popup menu then it display a cascading menu.

  {3}   Select and click on control panel option from the cascading menu, then it displays control panel window.

  {4}   Select and double click on Add/Remove programs icon from the control panel window then it displays Add Remove programs Properties dialogue box.

  {5}  Select the software from the dialogue box to be removed and then click on Add/Remove button from the above dialogue box, then the operating system asks for the confirmation of removal of software.

  {6}   Click on Yes button to remove the software from the computer.
